Moon Rising Over Keystone / by William Ball

This is one of those shots that you carry with you. I had pulled over in the parking lot across from Keystone after a rough day shooting up in Loveland Pass with Jake. It was a Sunday and the Packers were in the playoffs; Char was feeding me the game via Facetime. The sun started to go down, and I noticed the light was really nice, so I jumped out of the jeep to share the scenery. I panned around the horizon, finally landing, awestruck, on this gibbous moon. For the next hour I sat there listening to the game, chatting with my soon-to-be wife, watching the moon rise over Summit Cove. It was probably the most peaceful evening of my life.

Really, really looking forward to making some new memories like this in the next couple weeks.
